Vintage oak sideboard | Hand painted black, gold accents, pink & lovely transfer

A strong appearance & bold character..all encapsulated in this textured sombre, moody look but with lots of gold placed here and there.  When you open the sideboard's doors, the birds are starting to sing and fly and spread around the gold dust off their wings and you'll just find yourself oblivious of its admiration. 
 
Now, back to serious business, let us tell you how this piece has been created, which was a labour of love (and gold).
We hand painted this vintage sideboard with high-quality chalk mineral paint (VOC Free) from Dixie Belle Paint Company & texture additive.  We layered the stunning gold wax & leaf in various areas of the piece, that gives so much elegance and that special final touch, enhancing the beautiful details this piece of furniture has.
 
On the doors' inside is perfection. We first applied a gorgeous gold gilding wax, and then we layered the golden foil in different areas, which created magic... when we've seen how amazingly the golden wax & foil & the birds & flowers transfer (called 'Versailles') are together, we surely became in love with this combination forever.
We finished the sideboard by sealing it with a durable Satin finish.
 
Please bear in mind that all of our pieces are vintage and previously loved by someone else, so may have some signs of wear but we think that enhances the overall look and past life story it had. However, this piece is in a really good condition and has no damage you should be concerned about.
